Rob has worked in the insurance market for over 20 years, obtaining his CII qualification in 2012. 

 

Rob specialises in property & casualty insurances and prior to joining the Merlin team, worked at some of the most prestigious brokers in the UK, including Bluefin, Jelf and Marsh. There he placed complex insurance portfolios into the Lloyds and company markets, also setting up insurer led placement facilities. 

 

He also has previous underwriting experience, having been entrusted with writing business for several major insurers on delegated authority schemes. 

As with all the team, Rob is keen to help clients with more than just insurance cover. He is renowned for his personal approach and attention to detail, which ultimately helps clients grow their business from strength to strength. 

 

On a personal note, Rob is a keen golfer, which is mostly enjoyed via events in the insurance and networking sector throughout the year. Drop him a line if you also need to improve your handicap!
